In dyer need of coffee (oh hayy midterms), I'm procrastinating with a blog break. Rather than putting my mind to the history of mass media, I'd rather contemplate my ideal coffee brand. When it comes to cozy study spots, 2story has the competition beat, but their lattes have semi-sweet bite. Therefore, on my morning runs before 8am technology classes I always resort to the Athens classic, Jittery Joes. Maybe it's the chocolate croissants, or maybe it's the melty whipped cream, but it's probably the location. Quick and easy. Then there's Walkers, the townie DT locale - perfect for winter DDing. And I'd never forget America's favorite. In the graphic design world, Starbucks has gone where every company aspires to end up. Logo simplification to a point of branding a single image.
What do y'all think about the new logo sans-"Starbucks Coffee?"
